Ole Henriksen Influenster Vox Box Unboxing

I've been dying to try out some Ole Henriksen skincare for years, so when Influenster let me know that I had qualified for their Ole Henriksen vox box I was thrilled!

The box came with four different products designed to give you a perfect #OleGlow –– a godsend for someone with skin as dry as mine. I've already been trying out most of these products, so I'll let you know my first impressions along the way.

POWER BRIGHT 3-STEP BRIGHTENING SYSTEM
Full Size: $55

This is the one product I have yet to try (I'm planning to use it before a wedding in a few weeks). The 3-Step System includes the Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask, the Truth 25% Vitamin C Concentrate, and the Pure Truth Melting Cleanser. It's designed to polish, brighten, and make your skin glow. I am incredibly excited to bring some life to my dull skin with this one!

PROFESSIONAL CLEANSING SPONGE
2 Pack: $6
(can be bought separately on the Ole Henriksen website)

The professional cleansing sponge comes with the 3-step system, but I wanted to mention it separately since I've started using it already. TL;DR I'm a fan.

I've never been one to use a sponge or cleansing cloth, but this works beautifully with my holy grail, never-gonna-stop-using, love-of-my-life Murad Clarifying Cleanser. Together with the cleanser, it takes away all of my makeup while gently exfoliating my skin. Although I will say that I find myself needing to use a bit more of the cleanser when I use the sponge, and I'm not sure how I feel about that right now. It certainly does remove my makeup better and it makes my skin feel a lot cleaner, so maybe that's a good trade-off?

Each sponge is supposed to last 1-3 months, but I am curious as to how it really holds up over time. I will definitely keep you updated on that one!

TRUTH SERUM COLLAGEN BOOSTER
0.5oz: $15

I've already included this one to my daily routine and I am loving it! I don't have a lot of experience with serums –– since I tend to keep my skin care routine fairly minimal –– but I feel like this might become a game changer for me. The formula feels incredibly lightweight and absorbs super fast into the skin. I can't speak much about its anti-aging properties, since I haven't been using it for long, but I definitely feel like my skin feels tighter after using it.

SHEER TRANSFORMATION MOISTURIZER
0.5 oz: $14

This is another product that I've included in my daily routine along with the serum, and I feel like these two work perfectly in tandem with each other.

Because I have dry, sensitive skin, I sometimes have a hard time finding moisturizers that are lightweight, hydrating, and non-irritating. My go-to have been the Simple moisturizers –– I tend to switch between the Replenishing Rich Moisturizer and the Hydrating Light Moisturizer –– because they are not too expensive and work really well with my skin. However, I find that the Sheer Transformation Moisturizer, although it is a little more thick, absorbs a lot faster into the skin. It's also supposed to help uneven skin tone, uneven texture, and dark spots. Again, I can't speak much for these properties –– yet –– but because I deal with some hyper pigmentation and acne scaring, it is definitely something I'm keeping my eye out for.

Overall, my first impression of the products in this vox box have been great, and I must say that I am incredibly impressed thus far. I will definitely keep an eye out for a few of the more longer term effects for the serum and moisturizer, but for now I am a fan.

*I received this box free from Influenster in exchange for an honest review. Thanks, Influenster! ^^
